Our Administrative Review Services
Our immigration lawyers in London frequently assist clients who believe their UK visa application was refused due to an error—particularly under the Points-Based Immigration System. In these cases, where a full appeal right is not available, individuals may request an Administrative Review of the decision.
Administrative Reviews are typically used to address mistakes in the application assessment—for example, if your claimed points were calculated incorrectly or relevant information was overlooked.
At Visasolve, our experienced immigration lawyers have a strong track record of success in handling Administrative Reviews across all visa categories, including Tier 2, Tier 4, and other routes.
If you choose to work with us, we’ll:
- Review your refusal in detail
- Identify any errors made in the decision
- Submit a clear and persuasive Administrative Review request on your behalf
Please note: Administrative Reviews are only available to individuals applying from outside the UK who are seeking entry clearance.
Detailed Information About Our Administrative Review Services
If your UK visa application has been refused and you’re applying from outside the UK, you may be entitled to request an Administrative Review, provided it is submitted within 28 days of receiving the refusal notice.
How the Administrative Review Process Works
- With your refusal, you will receive an Administrative Review Request Notice.
- This form must be fully completed and submitted to the address indicated on the notice.
- You are not required to submit your passport or other documents with the form. If the decision is overturned, you may be asked to provide your passport later.
- The request must be submitted within 28 days. Late submissions may be accepted only under exceptional circumstances.
Important Notes on Administrative Review
- You cannot request a second Administrative Review for the same refusal.
- If your review is unsuccessful, you will need to submit a new visa application based on updated grounds.
- If the new application is refused, you may then submit an Administrative Review for that decision.
What Are the Possible Outcomes?
An Administrative Review can lead to one of three results:
- The refusal decision is upheld for the same reasons.
- The refusal decision is upheld with new reasons provided.
- The refusal is overturned, and entry clearance is granted.
At Visasolve, our mission is to help you achieve the third and most successful outcome. Our immigration lawyers will work closely with you to prepare a strong, strategic review submission that challenges the refusal effectively.
